This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Use and you agree that you have read and understand and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy by accepting the Terms and Conditions of Use and/or use/access any of Languages World’s Content/Services on the Platform.
This Privacy Policy contains terms of use, disclosure and accumulation of user information.
The user will provide certain information (including, but not limited to, first name, last name, email address). Languages World takes reasonable steps to protect the referred information; it does not sell or trade the referred information; it only uses it in the manner specified in this document. Further, Languages World will not provide a guarantee that such information will be protected from unauthorized use or disclosure. Users are required to protect and maintain the confidentiality of their personal information. Languages World will not be liable for any damages, losses, costs, or adverse results related to such unauthorized use or disclosure.
User profile, language skills, and/or user name are displayed to facilitate user interaction and manage Languages World services. Except for inviting friends and certain notifications, a user’s email address is not shared or displayed.
Users may communicate with each other regarding translation services through the comments section of the platform without disclosing their contact information (including, but not limited to, phone number, email)
Since any information collected / shared on the Platform becomes “public information”, Users must be careful to disclose their personal information.
Languages World may share Client Materials with prospective Translators for the sole purpose of allowing them to preview content to decide whether to fill the translation order. In this regard, Users are solely responsible for editing or removing any confidential or personally identifiable information in the Customer Materials if Users do not wish to disclose such information.
Languages World may store and retain user information, including personal information related to services provided on the Platform. Stored information will not normally be deleted, even if a User deletes their account.
However, Languages World assumes no obligation and warranty to archive / store the information referred to and does not guarantee that the information referred to will be subsequently made available to the respective User.
Users’ personal information may be used for advertising, marketing, service improvement/enhancement/operation, research, statistical analysis, auditing, and any other communication activity.
Languages World may not share user information with third parties, except as follows:

– with translators to provide translation services,
– in accordance with the legal requests of the courts and other legal authorities,
– to comply with the law or to protect your rights / interests / property / services / Platform,
– if Languages World assigns or transfers its rights, warranties, or obligations to a third party,
– that does not relate to individually identifiable Users, for the purposes set out in point 9.
After notification and written consent from the User, Languages World and/or other third parties who have a contractual relationship with Languages World, may be informed and introduced to new services, promotions, campaigns or similar matters for advertising and information purposes via e-mail or any other communication tool, in relation to the Platform and its contents/services. If the User does not consent to the above notifications, the User may inform Languages World as a result of their request to leave their assigned membership for advertising and information purposes on the Platform. On the other hand, Languages World reserves the right to notify users in relation to service announcements, service management.
For any matters not specified herein, the Terms and Conditions of Use will apply.
